Obituary James (JD) Nealey Sr., age 89, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Flora Nealey; brothers, Harold, Johnny and Ray Nealey. He was a member of Westview Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Virginia Ruth Nealey; son, James Nealey Jr.; sisters, Gladys Tancrede, and Faye Seay, All of Dalton; granddaughter Stephanie Nealey; one great grandchild, Noah Nealey; nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 3:00 pm. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev.

Mark Seay officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at funeral home Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 12:00 pm 3:00 pm.
