KAWCHAK- James, 81, Richland Twp. Passed away February 13, 2019 at his residence. Born November 11, 1937 in Johnstown.

Son of Nick and Anna (Rychak) Kawchak. Preceded in death by parents, wife Carol J. (Stafford), grandsons Christopher Barefoot and Alexander Kawchak, sisters, Alice Hiros, and Catherine Salata, Mary Botter, and Julia Verhovsek, brothers Stephen, Michael and John. Survived by children Linda married to Joel Barefoot, Pam married to Steve Sarlouis, and Jim married to Chris (Horner) all of Centerville, VA; grandchildren Ryan, Megan, Matthew and Jenna; and great grandson Bryson.

Member of Saints Gregory and Barnabas Parish. Retired manager of Giant Eagle Stores (Richland and West End). Friends will be received from 4-7 Friday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 Saturday at St. Gregory Catholic Church.
