(77) of Johnstown passed away January 30, 2019. Born August 12, 1941 son of John Wesley Walker, Sr. and Ruby Mae (Long) Walker. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife Charlene (Davis) and sister Jean Walker.

Survived by his sons Darion Walker of NY and Raji Walker and daughter-in-law Rebecca Nickel both of Johnstown. His grandchildren Ryan, Raji Jr, Noah and Tashi, his twin brother Calvin, brother John Wesley Walker Jr and sister Johnny Mae Moses and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Alvin was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church where he was proud to serve with The Redeemed Men of God Ministry and he retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp.

He also enjoyed a good game of cards with friends. Family and friends will be received from 5-8 PM Thursday and are invited to attend his Homegoing Service at 11 AM Friday at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 400 Pine St., Hornerstown, the Rev. Dr. Ralph E. Johnson, officiating, Committal Grandview Cemetery.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Family Hospice team. Moskal-Reid Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
