MOOSE—Carla Jean, 54, Richland Township, flew away from this world and into the arms of the Lord on February 8, 2019, with her husband and children by her side. Born February 28, 1964, in Lynn, Massachusetts, daughter of Paul J. Zinner Sr. and Lois G. Peluchette. Preceded in death by parents; sister-in-law, Kathy Zinner; nephew, Paul James “P.J.” Zinner III; nephew, Jarrod Zinner and loyal dog and companion, Reese.

Carla’s legacy will be carried on by her loving husband of 35 years, Andrew L. Moose, and her loving children, Amanda L., wife of Michael R. Gindlesperger, Windber; Ronald D. (Hali), Richland Twp. , Thomas J. (Brooke Facciani), Richland Twp. ; and Mathew C. (Jensen Durica), Allison Park; grandchildren, Brayden, Gage and Rosalie Gindlesperger, and Maxwell Moose; siblings, Paul J. Zinner Jr., Johnstown; Sandra L. McNichol, Coatesville; Edward M. Zinner (Cindy), Las Vegas, NV: Michele A. Zinner (Brian Miller), West Chester; and Jacqueline M. Terry (Craig), Lakewood, NY; nephew and best friend, Brendan T. Terry and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Nothing brought Carla more joy than being surrounded by her family and loved ones. She especially adored her role as “Grammy”. Her vivacious personality was magnetic and her uncanny ability to live life authentically is admired by all who knew her.

Carla had a big personality and an even bigger heart, welcoming all who walked through her door as though they were family. She loved long weekends spent camping at Shawnee, rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, old John Wayne movies, listening to music with the volume turned up and telling corny jokes to her grandkids. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and again from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the funeral home with Fr.
