Obituary for James L. Wilcher Mr. James Lee Wilcher, 92, died December 24, 2018 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on December 27, 2018 at Mount Nebo Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Lee Price officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Wilcher, a lifelong resident of Glascock County, was a farmer and a retired school bus driver for 36 years. He was a member and deacon of Mount Nebo Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Wilcher, Mitchell and Andrew Wilcher (Sandra), Waynesville, NC; one daughter, Jan Rodgers (Andy) of Dearing; a sister Sara Raley, Gibson; five grandchildren Nick Wilcher, Tiffany Cline, Amanda Hart, Charlie Wilcher and Josh Rodgers; and five great-grandchildren, Corbin Wilcher, Sam Wilcher, Holley Wilcher, Carson Cline and Vivian Hart.

James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret J. Wilcher, a daughter, Shirley W. Tollison and brother George L. Wilcher. Pallbearers will be Nick Wilcher, Corbin Wilcher, Josh Rodgers, Chris Cline, Adam Hart and John Raley. The family would like to thank his special caregivers, Sue Latimer, Debra Neal, Loretta Tucker, Arlean Mills, Angie Johnson and Debbie Cason for the love and care they have given to our father.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Nebo Primitive Baptist c/o Gail Berry, 6719 Washington St. Mitchell, GA 30820. The family will receive friends December 27, 2018 from 1-2 PM at the church.
