Schenectady – James Lansing, 73, died Friday, July 20th, 2018 after a long illness at Capstone Rehabilitation and Nursing. Born in Schenectady on December 19th, 1944, James was the son of the late Frank and Sylvia (Stanton) Lansing. James graduated from Nott Terrace High School and honorably served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

James was employed by Conifer Park in Glenville. He is predeceased by his wife, Ruth Winner Lansing, sister, Helen Kildoyle and brother, Robert Lansing. James is survived by his sister Joan Jones of Glenville and Linda Howarth of Schenectady as well as several nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, July 26th from 9-10am at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. , Rotterdam. A funeral service will follow at 10am.

Interment at Bramanville Prospect Cemetery will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by R.J. DeLuccia Funeral Service.
