Kernersville- Mr. James “Jim” Louis Marion, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on June 10, 1926 in Dobson, NC to James Manuel and Josephine Simpson Marion. Jim was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean Conflict.

He loved electronics and was a very comical man. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Sue Marion and two brothers, Jay and Clyde Marion.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Eunice Jessup Marion; two sons, Ronald Louis Marion (wife, Vickie) and James Dennis Marion (wife, Susie); two grandchildren, Nikki Huebner and Dustin Johnson; six great grandchildren, Lauchlin, Stratton, and Davitt Huebner and Chase, Luke, and Jacob Johnson; and by one brother, Hobert Marion. A private graveside service for Jim will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 with Dr. Pete Kunkle officiating.
