Obituary for James Lyle Ensey James “Lyle” Ensey, age 91, of Harriman, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 peacefully at his home. Lyle was a member of Kerbela Shrine Temple of Knoxville, Masonic South Gate Lodge #569 for 60 years, Local 102 Pipefitters Union for 69 years, a World War II Veteran in the United States Army, and a lifetime member of VFW Post 6598. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and a loyal friend always willing to help anyone.

Preceded in death by parents Jim and Jimmie Fay Ensey, brothers Howard and Charlie Ensey, sister Mildred Caruthers, and grandson Chris Ensey. Survived by wife of 67 years Gerry Ensey, daughter Karen Ensey Beaty (Mike), son Chesley Ensey (Jennifer), sister Irma Labreche, granddaughters Chelsea Ensey McCombs (Luke) daughter of Kathy Ensey Dial and Bailey White , grandsons Alex and Austin White, great grandson Elliott Lyle Grizzle, Fellow Army Veteran and lifelong friend JC Poole. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman with Bro.

Ronnie Stockton officiating. Graveside service will be Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1 p.m. in Roane Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6598, 195 Tub Springs Rd.
