Obituary for Kathleen Edna Oran Kathleen Edna Holder Oran, age 96, of Sweetwater, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018. She was a member of Fender’s United Methodist Church, and retired owner and operator of Oran’s Grocery. Preceded in death by her husband: John C. Oran, son Ronny L. Oran, parents: Bradford and Edna Holder, brother and sister-in-law: Elmer Lee and Maxine Holder, sister and brother-in-law: Fannie Rea and Frank North.

Mrs. Oran enjoyed: traveling, knitting, cooking, bingo, grandkids, gardening, and canning. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: John W. and Carole S. Oran, former daughter-in-law: Susy Oran Wicker, grandchildren: Jeff Oran, Steve Oran, Terry Oran ( Melanie), Angela Barr Hockman (Greg) Toyna Myers Harrill (T. J), great-grandchildren: Ashley, Bartley, Mason, Keenan, Kara, John Tyler, Madi, and McCade.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00P.M. A private graveside service and interment will be conducted in the Fender’s Cemetery. The grandsons will be serving as pallbearer’s . In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fender’s Cemetery fund: C/O Carol Randive 802 Mayes Ave.
