James R. Rudy, age 80, of West Milton, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Englewood Health and Rehab Center. He was born July 20, 1938 to the late Orville & Vanice (Small) Rudy in Greenville, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents; son Randy Rudy; granddaughter Elizabeth “Libby” Downey and siblings Lowell Rudy and Carol Rudy.

He will be missed and remembered by his loving daughters Angela (Joey) Lykins of Englewood and Amy (Jason) Downey of Mandeville, LA; grandchildren Crystal (Jon) Sirls, Ellie Lykins, Aiden Lykins, Cooper Lykins, Noelle Downey and Sienna Downey and sister Janet Cheney of Buckman, MN. James worked and retired from United States Precision Glass as supervisor. He also made Eagle Scouts which he was very proud of and loved woodworking, fishing, watching NASCAR and sports.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM on Saturday, October 20 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a memorial service beginning at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will follow in Newcomers Cemetery, Painters Creek. Online memories of James may be left for the family at www.
