OBITUARY James Stewart July 17, 1953 – September 25, 2018 Mr. James L. “Jimmy” Stewart, 65, of Chattanooga, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. He was born in Greenville, SC on July 17, 1953 to the late Billy and Elizabeth Stewart. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his daughter, Jenny Stewart, and brothers, Billy Stewart and Bobby Dean French.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Stewart; daughter, Janie Stewart; sister, Glenda Mankin; in-laws, DeWayne & Debbie Jackson and Dr. Walter F. and Billie Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews The family will receive friends on Friday, Sept 28th from 1-3 pm at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Hixson. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm with Rev. Eric Duble officiating.

Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice. Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
