Teeter –James M., 81, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2018. Born on April 25, 1937 in Johnstown, son of Herman A. and Mildred M. (Sharon) Teeter. Preceded in death by parents; siblings, Mildred Graham, Herman “Bud”, Joan Maydak, and John.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Wilda L. (Ritchie) Teeter; children, Debra L. (John) Schuster, Levittown, PA, Carolyn A. Rodgers, Baltimore, MD, James M. (Tina) Teeter, Carbon Hill, AL, and Kellie C. (Tony) Donovan, Levittown, PA; stepchildren, Tammy F. Walker, Johnstown, Thomas E. (Maria) Meadows, Wheeling, WV, Kathy J. (Rick) Dancy, Ridgeway, VA, and David M. (Tracey) Cox, Camden, SC; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Pat Teeter, Johnstown; several nieces, nephews; many friends, especially his neighbor, Steven Cratty and his family, and his buddy, Shadow. James was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He attended Ss.

Gregory and Barnabas Catholic Church, Daisytown. James retired from Conrail Railroad as a mechanic. James enjoyed working in his garage on anything needing fixed.

He was a very generous man, who loved helping everyone. Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Andrew Taylor officiating.

Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery with military rites conducted by Menoher Post #155 VFW Ritual Team. The family suggests contributions be directed to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N 3rd St, Philadelphia, PA 19123 in memory of James. Online condolences may be posted to www.
