James W. Ryan, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 21, 2018. He was born in Bayonne to the late Elizabeth (nee: Leahy) and Charles Ryan. He was the ton at St. Andrew the Apostle Church and a member of the Holy Name Society.

James is survived by his dear siblings, John (retired Bayonne Fire Department) and Elizabeth Tranberg; his special niece and nephew, Anne Marie and Martin Juenge; and several other loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dear siblings, Robert and Michael Ryan, Margaret Levandowksi, Catherine Rosario, Anne Juenge and Marie Lombardi. The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Friday, May 25, 2018.

A funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Franciscan Friars of Atonement, 40 Franciscan Way, Garrison, NY 10524.
