Obituary for James Duke Mr. Wilford Duke, age 89, of Murray, Kentucky died at his home on Tuesday, September 04, 2018. Mr. Duke was born on October 18, 1928 in New Concord, Kentucky to the late William Murray Duke and Ethel Mitchell Duke. Mr. Duke was a retired Auto Body Repairman, having worked for Thomas Auto Sales, Lassiter Auto Sales, and Buck’s Body Shop.

He was also an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Edna Jewell Thomas Duke; one sister, Betty Walker; two brothers, Ralph Duke and wife Dorothy and Richard Duke and wife Sarah. Mr. Duke is survived by one daughter, Glenda Duke of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Tommy Duke of Murray, Kentucky and Robert Duke of Murray, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Hubert Walker of Marlette, Michigan; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with burial following in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Bro. Brad Burns will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
