JAMES SKALA, age 77, born June 6, 1941, passed away October 16, 2018. Long-time resident of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and former owner of the Popcorn Shop, Cambridge Candies, and Reliable Pet Sitting. James is preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Mae Skala and his wife, Linda Skala (nee Younkin).

He is survived by his daughter, Lindsay and husband Shaun Bird; two granddaughters, Charlotte and Josephine; brother and sister-in-law, John and Karen Skala; sister-in-law, Janis Zugan; brother-in-law, Roy Younkin Jr.; and cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends TUESDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2018, AT MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 95 S. FRANKLIN ST. , CHAGRIN FALLS FROM 11 A.M. TO 1 P.M. followed by the procession to Auburn Shadyside Cemetery.
