Obituary of James Higginbotham, II James Wesley Higginbotham, III, 70, of Woodville passed away April 15, 2018. Born April 30, 1947 in South Charleston, West Virginia to the late James W. Higginbotham, Jr. and Oleta Poling Higginbotham, he lived in League City before moving to Woodville in 1995. James graduated from the Mashall University in Huntington, W.V. with a Master Degree in Business and History.

He worked for Hex in South Charleston, W.V., a foreman for Champion Paper Mill, for Wal-Mart for 15 years and was currently employed by Brookshire Bros in the dairy department. He had farmed since 1995 and especially enjoyed raising chickens. He was preceded in death by his parents and his BFF brother-in-law, John Reynolds.

James is survived by his loving wife, Carol Higginbotham; sons, Robert K. Barton of Doucette and James Wesley Higginbotham, IV and wife, Talinda of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Tommie L. Autry and husband, Chris of Norman, OK; sister, Vicki Hardin and husband, Randall of Kingsport, Tenn. ; cousin, Le’Ann Lecte of Ashville, NC; grandchildren, Heather Leigh Barton, Robert K. Barton, Emily Barton, Kayla Jean Higginbotham, James Wesley Higginbotham, V and Calvin Edward Autry; numerous other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville, Tx.
