Obituary of Mary Harrington Mary Lois Harrington, 77, of Spurger passed peacefully unto the Lord on October 12, 2018. Born July 10, 1941 in Beaumont, Texas to the late William and Mary Wood Dobbs, she lived in Spurger for many years. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her.

She was a devoted member of the Spurger United Methodist Church. An endowed member and a past Matron of Spurger Chapter #315, Mrs. Harrington was a twenty-seven year member of the ORder of the Eastern Star. She served as a scout leader and a member of the Spurger Lions Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Dobbs and a daughter, Tracy Harrington. Mary is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Norris Harrington; daughter, Theresa Dominguez; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Donna Harrington, Ernest Dominguez, Joe and Susan Dominguez; brother, Bill Dobbs and wife, Shirley; grandchildren, Jerad Dominguez, Shannin Wheeler, Cory Fleener, Logan Harrington, Cole Harrington, Sandy Thomas, Leeland Davis, Jamie Gurka, Darien Gurka and Tiffany Foreman; ten great grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends. Funeral service will be held Monday, October 15, 2018, at 10 am at the Spurger United Methodist Church with Joe Chapman officiating.

An eastern star service will be held under the direction of the Order of the Eastern Star #315 Spurger Chapter. Burial will follow at the Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger, Tx. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 pm until 8 pm at Riley Funeral Home.
