. Jan K. Rink Jan K. Rink, 75, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport. A. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Vandemore Funeral Home and Crematory, Geneseo Chapel, Deacon Harley Chaffee will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo, IL. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Geneseo Humane Society.

Jan was born on March 20, 1943 the daughter of Clyde and Marjorie (Biddison) Johnson in Geneseo, IL. She married Bill L. Rink on June 14, 1961 in Geneseo. Jan had been an interior decorator for many years working for Bill VanVliete and Carl Mahler in the Geneseo area.

She was a talented artist selling her artwork for many years. She enjoyed antique collecting, and was a fabulous knitter. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Bill of Geneseo, son, Scott (Diane) Rink of Marion, IA.

, daughter, Jennifer (Mike) O’Toole, of Grayslake, IL, daughter, Jill (Tami) Domescik-Rink of Auburn, IL. , son, Brad (Kenny Lawrence) Rink of Cape Town, South Africa, brother, Mike (Carol) Johnson of Geneseo, sister Ali (Curt) De Splinter of Geneseo, six grandchildren, Taylor Rink, Alex (Chelsea) Rink, McKenzi and Emma Domescik-Rink, Hillary and Erin O’Toole, and three great-grandchildren, Manning, Madden, and Benjamin. Jan was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ashley (Rink) Merritts her parents, Clyde and Marjorie Johnson, and one brother, Greg Johnson.
