Jane E. Anderson, 78, of Sciota, passed away on Monday April 23, 2018 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus. Born January 21, 1940 in Stroudsburg, the daughter of the late Robert and Verna (Snyder) Bittenbender. She was a lifelong resident of Sciota.

Jane is survived by her daughter Denise L Farleigh and her wife Michelle of Las Vegas Nevada ; her son Scott Robert “Rancher” Farleigh of Sam’s Valley, Oregon; her grandsons Thomas and Jacob Farleigh, and her great granddaughter… Read More » Ava Dawn Farleigh. She is also survived by ; and her 2 sisters Marie Heller and her husband Harvey “Skip” of Saylorsburg, and Dora Searfass and her husband Clarence of Palmer Township; Her longtime partner Edward Meehan of Sciota and his children; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Glenn.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family on the Fenner Farm in Sciota. The Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
