JANE’s Obituary JANE ELLA RADFORD NORTHINGTON, 79; NATIVE OF TRIGG CO. , KY; WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE WILLIE LEE RADFORD AND GEORGIA IRVING RADFORD. JANE GRADUATED FROM ATTUCKS HIGH SCHOOL AND ATTENDED HOPKINSVILLE COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND HOPKINSVILLE COLLEGE OF THE BIBLE.

JANE WAS MARRIED TO HOWARD NORTHINGTON WHO PRECEDED HER IN DEATH. SHE JOINED CAVE SPRING BAPTIST CHURCH AT AN EARLY AGE. SHE LATER JOINED FIRST STREET BAPTIST CHURCH.

SHE SERVED AS A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER FOR THE BOYS, AGES 13-17 YEARS OLD FOR FORTY YEARS. JANE ALSO HELPED WITH THE VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL, SISTERHOOD, NURSES GUILD, MISSION ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL, AND ANY OTHER AREA THAT NEEDED HELP. JANE WORKED FOR THE CITY OF HOPKINSVILLE AS A MANAGER OF ACCOUNTING FOR TWENTY-FOUR YEARS BEFORE RETIRING IN 2006.

IN HER SPARE TIME SHE ENJOYED MAKING CLOTHES, READING, COOKING, HELPING THE SICK AND NEEDY, VOLUNTEERING FOR THE PENNYROYAL HOSPICE, BOOK KEEPING FOR HER HUSBAND’S BUSINESS BEFORE HE PASSD AWAY AND MUCH MORE. JANE WAS ALSO A TREASURE FOR TOPS CLUB AND A MEMBER OF THE CLOVERVIEW COMMUNITY CLUBAND A MEMBER OF THE MODERNETTE’S CIVIC CLUB. JANE ELLA NORTHINGTON PASSED AWAY ON JANUARY 5, 2018 AT HER RESIDENCE.

ALONG WITH HER PARENTS AND HUSBAND HOWARD NORTHINGTON, SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER SON, TIMOTHY NORTHINGTON & BROTHER, FRANK RADFORD.
