Jane’s Obituary Jane Lucy Ochs, 97, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10:56 a.m., Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, 201 E. Van Allen St., Tuscola, IL, with Rev. Angel Sierra presiding.

Burial will follow in the Tuscola Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the church. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Tuscola, IL is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Jane was born on February 22, 1922 in Ligonier, IN, the daughter of Michael and Ella (Cler) Reinhart. She married Donald E. Ochs on December 30, 1941, in Mattoon, IL. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2008.

She is survived by her brother, George Reinhart, and children Janet K. Plaszczynski of Tuscola, and Daniel E. (Janice) Ochs and Stanley N. (Deidra) Ochs, both of Oakland, IL, 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Weber; brother, Orville Reinhart; daughter, Joyce (Ron) Runyan; and four great-grandchildren. Jane was a woman of prayer and strong faith that she shared with all.

Her kindness and ready smile will be greatly missed. She was an active member of Forty Martyrs Catholic Church for almost 70 years, serving in various capacities. In addition to her vocations of wife and mother, Jane was employed at Jarman Hospital prior to her retirement.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forty Martyrs Catholic Church.
