Jane M. Lasson, 96, of Steubenville, Ohio died on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Discovery Village, Sarasota, FL. She was born December 22, 1921 in Steubenville a daughter of the late Joseph & Rose Fabrycki Mieczkowski. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a 1940 graduate of SHS.

Jane served in the US Navy during WWII and retired from Colliers Steel Corp. as a bookkeeper. Preceding Jane in death were her husband Steve V. Lasson; daughter Stephanie Lasson; son Larry Lasson; three brothers and three sisters.

Jane is survived by her daughter Susan (Steve) Shalton of Winter Springs, FL; one granddaughter; two great granddaughters. Military graveside services 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery (Assumption section).
