Obituary for Jane “Sweetheart” Velma DeMello Jane “Sweetheart” Velma DeMello, 86 of Kaneohe Hawaii has passed away on Monday September 10, 2018 at the Hospice Hawaii Care Facility in Kailua. She was born to father, Samuel Louis Johnson and mother, Elizabeth Hiilei (Kaniaupio) in Honolulu Hawaii on October 25, 1931. She was a Homemaker.

Jane is survived by son, Darren Dean (Jocelyn) DeMello; daughter, Elizabeth Kuuipo (Jerry) Andrade; grandson, Dustan Kalani (Emma) DeMello; granddaughter, Bronte Kawehilokelani Bolosan; preceded in death by husband, Ernest Joseph DeMello. Funeral service will be on Saturday October 6, 2018 at St Ann Catholic Church (46-129 Haiku Rd, Kaneohe, HI 96744); Visitation will be at 9:00 am with Eulogy to begin at 10:30 am; Mass will be at 10:45 am with a burial to follow at 12:00 pm at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park (47-200 Kahekili Hwy, Kaneohe, HI 96744).
