Janet’s Obituary Janet Bullard Johnson, 73 of Jesup died Friday, May 24, 2019 at her residence. The England native had lived in Wayne County most of her adult life, was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, a homemaker and helpmate to her late husband of 54 years, Rev. Charles “Purty and Good” Johnson, Sr. Janet enjoyed sewing and gardening.

In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by a great granddaughter, Emma Grace Johnson and her father, Earl Bullard, Sr. Survivors are two sons, Chuck (Leila) Johnson of Jesup, Mike (Beverley) Johnson of Patterson; 4 grandchildren, Dalton Johnson, Taylor Smith, Beth Cummings, Danny Taylor; 5 great grandchildren, Brin, Sawyer, Harland, Jasidy, McKinley; her mother, Joan Bullard of Patterson; a sister, Lynda Sue Thornton of Patterson; 3 brothers, David Bullard, Gary (Barbara) Bullard and Chubby (Stephannie) Bullard, all of Patterson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, May 28, 2019 + at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Danny Daniels officiating.

Interment will be in the Midway Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family members and friends. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
