Janet E. Rhine, 90, of Harrisburg passed away Monday, January 28, 2019. Born April 19, 1928 in Siddonsburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Agnes (Knisley) Sowers and widow of David E. Rhine. Surviving are her sons David R., Dennis C., Dale R., Douglas L., and Dean A. Rhine; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Ross Reider of New Love in Christ Church, will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 1, 2019 at Buse Funeral Home, 2 East Main Street, Hummelstown preceded by a visitation from 10:00 AM. Private interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. The family would like to thank Grane Hospice and Colonial Park Care Center for the wonderful care their mother received.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. “Death is the last chapter in time but the first in eternity”.
