She was a faithful Christian who devoted her life to Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She in preceded in death by her son Curtis Newton.

She is survived by her husband, Galen Newton and wife Amy, daughter Amanda Pledger and husband Wes, grandchildren Bailey, McKenzie, Skylar, Cole, Luke, Walker, Lila and Elijah.
