Obituary for Jarrell W Pruitt Jarrell Wayne Pruitt died Saturday, December 29, 2018 in Muleshoe, Texas at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 18 days. He was born August 11, 1938 in Bailey County, Texas to William Charles and Helen Irene (Sanders) Pruitt. He married Olgaline Carrell in Muleshoe on August 30, 1957.

Jarrell served in the New Mexico National Guard from 1955 until 1968 as a Master Sargeant. He worked for Bailey County Electric as a serviceman and retired after 45 years. Jarrell was a member of the Senior Citizens Center in Muleshoe and was a proud supporter of the Muleshoe Mules.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Muleshoe. Jarrell is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Carolyn Gross; and 4 brothers, William Pruitt, Otis Pruitt, Jasper Pruitt and Jimmy Pruitt. Jarrell is survived by his wife, Olgaline; his son, David Pruitt and his wife, Sheri of Phoenix, Arizona; his daughter, Vana Jones and her husband, Michael of Nashville, Tennessee; his sister, Mary Byford of Odessa, Texas; his two brothers, Carroll Pruitt of Odessa, Texas and Howard Pruitt of Gretna, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Kindra Pruitt and Brenna Jones; and two great-grandchildren, Kinelly and Jett.
