Mr. Jason Wade Smith, age 40 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida. Born September 9, 1977 in Oak Ridge, TN, he was the son of Michael Smith and Lois Boghenkemper Demille. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Edgar and Omigene Smith and H. K. Boghenkemper.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by the mother of his two children, Blake and Brandon Smith, Stephanie Burgman; mother of his son: Weston Smith, Paige Harness; brother: Lezlie Joe Smith; and many other family members and friends. Friends may visit with the Smith family on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home. Jason requested cremation.
