Obituary of Jayola Alcorn Troy – Jayola Camic Alcorn, age 73, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019, at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. Mrs. Alcorn was born in Mercer County, Kentucky on November 24, 1945 to J. T. and Ethel Marie Peavler Camic. She was a member of Dover Baptist Church and was a retired clothing store secretary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Haldon Hale Camic and sister, Lou Venus Moore. She is survived by her husband, Roy Norman Alcorn, of the home; daughter, Watana Alcorn, of Troy; and son, Aaron Alcorn, of Troy. The family will receive friends Monday, February 4, 2019, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home in Star and other times at 207 Stanley Street in Troy.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, at Dover Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Bouldin, Rev. Ronnie Stewart, and Rev.

Pat Robinson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Dover Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2527 Dover Church Road, Seagrove, NC 27341 or Gideons International, PO Box 103, Troy, NC 27371.
