Kernersville – Mrs. Jean Bodford Tuttle, 78, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on April 10, 1941 to Charles Lee and Hilda James Bodford, Jr. Jean was a graduated of High Point Senior High School and later, Greensboro Women’s College. She was employed at Food World and later David Hooker, Accountants where she retired.

Jean was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church. Jean was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Gene L. Tuttle.

A graveside service for Jean will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor William Van Wieren officiating. Memorials may be made to Pine Grove United Methodist Church Building or Cemetery Fund, 1018 Piney Grove Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
