30 2019 at Meridian Health, Shrewsbury NJ. Born in Newark, she lived in Arlington, Allenhurst and then Interlaken for more than 70 years. Jean was a parishioner of St. Mary’s, Deal ( Our Lady of Hope Parish) , Deal Golf And CC and the Allenhurst Beach Club.

She was a graduate of Marylawn of the Oranges H.S. and Rosemont College with a BA in Psychology. Jean was an avid Bridge player and Crossword Puzzle enthusiast. She loved dinner parties and hosting her friends.

Jean married her late husband William J. Duffy (2014) in 1948 and they enjoyed 66 yrs. together. Surviving are three sons and their spouses; William J Duffy III and Barbara of Sea Girt, Michael J. Duffy and Laurie of Long Branch and John and Patricia Duffy of Ocean Twp.

also 8 grandchildren; Billy, Jonathan, Joseph, Lauren, Leigh, Meghan, Kaitlin and Morgan and 7 great grandchildren; Avery, Eliza, Addison, Reagan, Owen, Parker and Makayla. Visitation will be on Monday Feb. 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in Buckley Funeral Home 509 Second Ave.

Asbury Park NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 am in St. Mary’s Church 46 Richmond Ave. Deal.

Interment will follow in St. Catherines Cemetery, Sea Girt. In lieu of flowers please donate to either the Alzheimers Association or The Alzheimers Drug Discovery Foundation. For condolences please visit www.
