Family will greet friends from 9:30AM to 10:30AM on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Rooks Funeral Home, 213 West Church Street in Fort Valley. A graveside service will follow at 11:00AM in Marshallville City Cemetery, 304 West Main Street, with Rev.

Dennis Lanning officiating. Born in Anderson, Tennessee, to the late Cam and Elizabeth Summers, Mrs. Frederick worked at the Pentagon and later became a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith, always went to church, and enjoyed participating on a bowling team.

Mrs. Frederick , alongside her late husband of 66 years, Edward Rowe Frederick Jr., raised 3 daughters, Brenda Winter, Ann Estep, and Eydie (Terry) Pittman. They were blessed with 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Elsie Ziegler.

She will be missed dearly by her family and friends and always remembered for her loving and caring ways. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marshallville United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 286, Marshallville, GA 31057. Rooks Funeral Home in Fort Valley is in charge of arrangements.
