Jean U. Sheffler, 95, of Greensburg, formerly of Latrobe, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018 in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. She was born March 4, 1923 in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Lewis and Emma (Monnich) Ulery. Prior to retirement she had worked as a secretary for Valley Dairy.

She was a member of United Church of Christ, Latrobe. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Corry H. Sheffler on January 25, 1996; two brothers, William and Louis Ulery; two sisters, Valetta Blumberg and Marion Forbes; and an infant sister. She is survived by her son, Corry H. Sheffler, III and wife Vicki, of Southwest Greensburg; two grandsons, Corry Joseph Sheffler and his girlfriend Sakeina, and her daughter, Ryanna, and Zachary Michael Sheffler; her great-granddaughter, Kaionna Sheffler; and several nephews, including special nephew Dr. Gregory Forbes.

There will be no public visitation. A private funeral service will be held at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.

Private interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County, P.O. Box 1552, Greensburg, PA 15601. www.
