Jeanette Gloria Moran, 84, of Asheville, went home to be with The Lord on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Complete Care Health Care Center. She was born on June 5, 1934 in Mars Hill to the late Fletcher Rice and Agnes Chandler Rice. Jeanette was a native of Madison County, a home maker for her family, and was of the Baptist faith.

Along with her parents, Jeanette was predeceased by one of her grandchildren, Felicia Williams. She is survived by her children, Deborah Williams and her husband Corwin, Sherie Edwards and her husband Ralph, and Terrance Moran and his wife Melinda; brothers, Bob and Michael Rice, both of Mars Hill; grandchildren, Amanda Gillian, Elinda Moran, Johnny Moran, and Sean Luke Presnell; and great grandchildren, Mason and Presley Gillian. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Green Hills Cemetery in Asheville.

Rev. Davis Plemmons will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
