Jeanne Andersen, age 93, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at her home. She was born March 27, 1925 in Hastings, MI to Alfred J. and Laurentia (Charron) Bourdon and lived in the area most of her life. On May 11, 1950, she married Robert C. Andersen in Muskegon and he survives her.

Jeanne had worked for The Norge for 9 years and later worked 10 years as the craft manager for Fenstermacher’s Store. Jeanne was a gifted quilter and quilted by hand (not machine) at least a dozen quilts for her family. She and Robert were part of a bridge club and especially enjoyed many family gatherings.

Together, Jeanne and Robert traveled extensively including 2 trips to Europe, trips to Seattle, Canada, Mexico, Aruba, South Padre Island, and the Bahamas. She attended St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. SURVIVORS include her husband, Robert Andersen; Charles (Anita) Andersen, Cheryl (Richard) Didrickson, Thomas (Nancy) Andersen; 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth (Daniel) Quintero, Andrea (Dustin) Bourgault, Joseph Andersen, Alexis Andersen, Scott Andersen; 1 great-granddaughter, Keely Quintero; and several nieces and nephews.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 23, 2019 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100 with Rev. John H. Brown officiating. INTERMENT will take place at Lakeside Cemetery.
