Funeral service for Jeff Day age 59 of Trinity will be Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 11:00am at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Geoff Halbrooks officiating and burial in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Sunday.

Mr. Day, who was born January 21, 1959 in Morgan County to A.Q. Day and Vera Mae Johnson Day, died on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Huntsville Hospice Family Care. He was a millwright for Hubbard and Drake, loved his family, fishing, riding his Harley Davidson, racing radio controlled boats and his dogs; Sadie, Maggie and Baby Puppy. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Keith Day.

He is survived by his wife; Sue Day, a daughter; Brooke Bowen (Ken), a step-son; Adam Mosley, a step-daughter; Stacy Hass, 5 sisters; Peggy Johns (Chuck), Malinda Treadway, Debra Brenner (Ricky), Marsha McConnell (Andy) and Susan Hyatt (Allen), 3 grandchildren; Kaylin, Hali and Mykenzie, 8 step-grandchildren, 1 step-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews. Michael Garth, Tony Lewis, Scott Bryant, Jason Borden, Shane Borden and Dwight Taylor will be pallbearers.
