Obituary for Jeff Eanes Jefferson Marshall Eanes passed away unexpectedly at home in Waxhaw, NC on March 27, 2018. Jeff was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina to Carl M. and Ellen E. Eanes on November 11, 1961. He grew up in Martinsville, Virginia where he graduated from Laurel Park High School and attended Patrick Henry Community College.

Jeff sold insurance and was employed in the mortgage industry until 2013. In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his daughter, Amie Eanes, who was his pride and joy; brother Brantley C. Eanes (Rhonda) of Martinsville, Virginia and their daughter Taylor of Inez, Kentucky; sister Whitney Eanes Garrett (T. Scott) and their son Tyler and daughter Haley Gray of Lynchburg, Virginia.

Jeff loved the outdoors, playing basketball, running, and hiking. He had juvenile diabetes for 37 years which really limited his activities during his last years. He was an avid Carolina fan and could remember statistics as far back as the 80’s.

He spent many hours walking with his special canine friend, Lucy. Jeff was loved by his family and will be sorely missed. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail Chapel.
