He was born in Leeds, Alabama, July 14, 1963, to Clyde Thomas and Alma Lucille Wood Patty. He grew up in Scottsboro, Alabama and was a 1981 graduate of Scottsboro High School.

He also graduated from Averett University and received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University. For a number of years, he worked as the Director of Quality at Ashley Furniture in Ecru. Jeff travelled extensively throughout the world both on business and for pleasure.

He had visited Paris, London and Hawaii to name a few. He was a sports car enthusiast, owning a Corvette, Mazda Miata, Camaro and a Mercedes. He also enjoyed carpentry, remodeling construction and anything outdoors.

He was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 30 years and mother of his children, Katrina Potter Patty; daughter, Alicia LeBlanc and her husband, Jared of Huntsville, Alabama; two sons, Chris Patty and Matthew Patty both of Tupelo; three granddaughters, Abbi, Anna and Ava LeBlanc of Huntsville; two brothers, David Patty and his wife, Patricia of Dutton, Alabama and Richard Patty and his wife, Cathy of Stevenson, Alabama; one step-sister, Joyce Hargiss of Decatur, Alabama; and step-mother, Faye Hargiss Patty of Scottsboro. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at W.E. Pegues, Tupelo. Expressions of sympathy may be left at www. peguesfuneralhome.com.
