Jeffrey Alan Varney , December 13, 1981 — January 14, 2019

Jeffrey Alan Varney, 37, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 in East Conway, NH. Jeffrey was born on December 13, 1981 in Wolfeboro, NH to Debra Varney and Wayne Jenness. He attended the Ossipee Central School and Kingswood High School, then graduating from Lebanon High School in Lebanon, NH in 2000.

Jeffrey was always known for his great spirit and ability to come up a with a quick wise crack joke. He loved watching movies and catching a great action film. He was an avid video gamer.

He also liked repairing bicycles and taking them for rides around his neighborhood. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, but was especially close to his Mother. He enjoyed camping with his friends and family and attending bluegrass festivals.

On some of his camping trips he would go to the rivers and allow the current to float him down stream. He also enjoyed playing a good game of horse shoes. He loved his dogs Lilly and Brady as well as his two cats Smokey and Lucy.

Jeffery will certainly be remembered for being quiet, kind and always happy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jeffrey is survived by his Son, Hunter Picknell, of Springfield, VT; his Mother, Debra Varney and Step-Father Raymond Bryant of Center Conway, NH; his Father Wayne Jenness and Step-Mother Margaret Jenness of Center Ossipee, NH, as well as Step-Sister Crystal Jenness, Step-Brother Jeremy Eldridge.

He is also survived by his maternal Grandparents Marie MaComber and Raymond Varney. He leaves behind his Uncles Kenney, Joey, Frankie and Harvey Jenness, David Eldridge, Jerry Wiggin; Aunts Diane, Cindy, and Judy. As well as several nieces ,nephews and cousins.

Jeffery was predeceased by his paternal Grandparents, Marie and Harvey Jenness, Sr. A celebration of life will be held at the First Congregational Church, 50 NH-16B, Center Ossipee, NH, at 2 PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 with a brief time of remembrance following the service.
