Benson, NC: Mr. Jeffrey “Jeff” E. Barbour, age 64, of 3350 King Mill Road died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Funeral Service will be 4:00 PM Friday, June 1, 2018 at Elevation United Methodist Church, Benson, NC. Officiating will be Dr. Reginald Ponder, Sr. and Dr. Billy Cashwell.

Burial will follow in the Barbour Family Cemetery in Benson with Masonic Rites. Mr. Barbour was born October 2, 1953 in Johnston County to Ruth Grace Coats Barbour of Benson and the late Robert Leon Barbour. He owned and operated Barbour’s Custom Woodworks, Inc

Mr. Barbour was a member of Elevation United Methodist Church, Benson and Smithfield Masonic Lodge Fellowship #84. Surviving include his wife of 33 years, Patty Johnson Barbour; children, Stephen Barbour and wife, Amy of Georgia, Denise Sumner and husband, Eric of Benson and Jeffrey Keith Barbour of Raleigh; grandchildren, Bailey Sumner, Hannah Barbour, Erica Sumner and Landon Barbour; brothers, Ronald Barbour and wife, Gloria, Roger Barbour and wife, Linda and Dean Barbour and wife, Debbie all of Benson; sister, Jeanette Barbour of Benson; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM – 3:45 PM Friday prior to the service in the Fellowship Hall at Elevation United Methodist Church, Benson.

Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Office of Development, Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607 and write on check “Memorial for Jeff Barbour”.
