Jennifer “Jenny” Lynn Benefield, 44 of Columbus, Georgia passed away Monday, September 3, 2018. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with her brother, Larry Brown officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00-1:00 PM ET at the funeral home.

Jenny was born November 21, 1973 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Lonnie W. Brown and Betty Walker Brown. She spent many years working as a dental tech and was a member of Crawford Road Baptist Church. Jenny enjoyed sewing, crafts, handmaking stockings and Christmas tree skirts and loved spending time with her children and family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Lonnie W. Brown, brother, Don Brown, sister, Dianne Sabens and brother, David Brown. Surviving are her mother, Betty Brown, daughter, Kayla Colon (Vega), son, Michael Benefield (Rachel), brother, Larry Brown, sister, Joanne Nelson (Ronnie), sister (Rhonda Clouatre, brother, Mark Brown (Stephanie), brother, Robin Brown (Gail), sister, Susan Mitchell, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved pet, Bella.
