Obituary for Jennifer Lou Herrera-Baxter-Boswell Jennifer Lou Herrera-Baxter-Boswell Age 68, of Diamond, IL, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. Born March 6, 1950 in Joliet, IL to the late William Howard and Josephine (nee Gurney) Boswell. Jennifer previously worked in administration for the Illinois Youth Correctional Center and also Stateville Penitentiary.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and enjoyed traveling. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend to all. Member of the Dwight Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Alex (Gina) Baxter of Braidwood, IL and Jason Baxter of Odell, IL; two daughters, Shannon (Mike) Blottiaux of Custer Park, IL and Angela (Todd) Bright of Sarasota, FL; three grandchildren, Brandon Blottiaux, Ethan Baxter and Hunter Baxter; one great grandson, Kannan Blottiaux; three sisters, Diane (James) Hamby of Wartburg, TN, Liz (late Ron) McPherson of Braidwood, and Kelly Downey of Streator, IL; special niece, Aleesa Downey; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her brother, Howard Boswell; sister, Mary Jo in infancy; and brother-in-law, Ronald McPherson. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Memorial service will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in her name may be directed to Joliet Area Community Hospice. R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
