Jennifer Lynn Kerkes September 01, 1973 – February 10, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation My sweet daughter, Jennifer Lynn Kerkes, 45, passed away on February 10, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota with her loved ones at her side. She was born on September 1, 1973 to Patricia (Peg Williams) and George R. Kerkes. She attended local schools and also Father Daniel Hall in Wakefield, Michigan.

Jennifer loved going to the Highline Corporation in Hurley, Wisconsin, where she had many friends and loving caregivers. She struggled with disabilities all of her life but met each challenge with courage and a smile. Her gentleness and loving nature was an inspiration to those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father. Jennifer is survived by her mother, Peg; brother, Mark and sister-in-law, Amber Kerkes, as well as many other relatives. Her family was honored and blessed to be chosen by God to care for her, and her life was a of joy and happiness for them.

There will be no visitation. A private funeral will be held. McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, Ironwood, is assisting the family.
