Jerry A. Kinkead August 31, 1950 – February 27, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Jerry A. Kinkead, 68, of Lansdale, PA passed away peacefully on February 27, 2019 at Abington Hospice at Warminster in Warminster, PA. Born August 31, 1950 in Harrisonburg, VA he was the son of Ronda A. Kinkead, of Bridgewater, VA and the late Rosa L. (nee Berry) Kinkead. Jerry was a 1968 graduate of Turner Ashby High School in Bridgewater, VA and a United States Army Veteran who proudly, honorably, and faithfully served his country during the Vietnam War.

He was a longtime employee of the Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital in Fort Washington, PA, and he enjoyed being an avid fan of all of the Philadelphia Sports Teams, and watching sports on television. Jerry’s greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren, and he will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, son, and brother. In addition to his father, Jerry is also survived by his children, Alyssa Leigh Ganter (Matthew), of Pennsburg, PA and Tanya Lynne Arnold (Stephen), of Collegeville, PA, his grandchildren, Kayla Grace Arnold, Mason Terry Ganter, Jackson Matthew Ganter, and Jamison Jerry Arnold, his siblings, Patricia Kinkead Neville (Ron), of Staunton, VA, Richard Alexander Kinkead (Vickie), of Weyers Cave, VA, and Dennis Wayne Kinkead (Virginia), of Cross Junction, VA.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday morning, March 6, 2019 from 9:30-11:00 AM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446 where his Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM. The family has respectfully requested that all flowers be omitted, and that those desiring to do so may make a memorial contribution in Jerry’s name to The National Autism Association, One Park Avenue, Suite 1, Portsmouth, RI 02871, and which would be deeply appreciated by his family.
