Jerry D. “Skip” Crofutt, Jr., Age 44, of Apple Creek, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Tuesday morning, March 12th, 2019. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with ministers, Gene Lilly and Tim Underwood officiating. Burial will take place in Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by www. alexanderfhinc.com.

Jerry was born March 14th, 1974 in Wooster, Ohio and was the son of Jerry D. and Shirley (Etzel) Crofutt, Sr. On June 12th, 2004 he married Laurie Reidenbach and she survives. Jerry was a loyal employee of Gross Lumber / McKay Gross Division, working there 25 years.

He was a member of the Holmesville Church of Christ where he and his wife gave their lives to The Lord on Feb 26, 2017. Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles. He loved to work with his hands, mechanical and woodworking, and above all else loved spending time with his daughter, wife & family.

Jerry was always ready to help others and was a devoted & loving family man. He will be deeply missed. Surviving in addition to his wife Laurie are his beautiful daughter, Faith Ann Crofutt; a brother, Ed (Lori) Crofutt of Arizona; in-laws which he considered his second parents, Dale O. and Ruthann (Watson) Reidenbach; brother-in-law, Ty Bishop; brother-in-law, Dale R. Reidenbach and his children; sister-in-law, Cherrie (Les) Thompson; nieces and nephews, Zeb Ellis, Melissa Bell, Trent (Mel) Bishop, TyAnn (Mike) Miles and their children; many close friends, loved ones and his church family at Holmesville Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; and a sister, Ellen Bishop.
