Ethridge, 58, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Amberwood Care Center in Rockford, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded. Services will be Sunday, March 24th, at 3:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a two-hour visitation prior to the services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will be at a later date in Cordova, AL.

Memorials may be made to Mercy Health Hospice in Rockford, IL. Jerry was born October 1, 1960, in Jasper, AL, son of James Arthur and Mary Ruth (Otts) Ethridge. Jerry retired from Rick’s Tree Service; prior to that he was a logger in Alabama.

Survivors include two brothers, James (Debbie) Ethridge of Moline, and Mike (Vicki Smith) Ethridge of Rockford, IL; a sister, Vanessa Ethridge of Moline; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Rosemary Mitchell and Judy Parker.
