Obituary for Jerry Hundley Jerry Hundley, 89, of Lakeview, passed away Tuesday May 22, 2018 in Indianapolis. Jerry was born in Jackson County, KY on August 11, 1928 to the late Oscar and LuAnna (Fields) Hundley. Jerry lived most of his life in Lakeview, IN.

He married Lillie Bishop on July 11, 1953 and she preceded him in death on February 3, 1962. He married Lida Garland on May 7, 1966 and she survives. Jerry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He retired from B&O Railroad. He and his wife ran the J&J Truckstop in Lakeview and he also was a mechanic many years. Jerry was a member of the Lakeview Pentecostal Church.

He loved to work in his garden and enjoyed canning all the garden goodies! In addition to his wife, Lida, he is survived by a grandson, David Hundley and wife Alisha of Hamersville, OH, brothers, James M. Hundley of Laurel, Edward Hundley of Metamora, Handsford (Rella) Hundley of Cincinnati and Charles (Hazel) Hundley of KY, sisters, Martha Young, Mary Schnieder and Marie Thompson all of Connersville. Jerry is also survived by special niece, Tammy Herrmann and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lillie and a son, David. Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Tom Marshall presiding. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary from 5-7 PM Friday evening, May 25.

Burial will be in the Laurel North Cemetery. The Brookville Honor Guard will provide military honors. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Jerry Hundley please visit our Sympathy Store.
