MARTIN, SR. , Jesse C., age 76, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties where he had been a patient for one day. He was born June 9, 1942 in Middletown and lived here all his life.

He was employed in the Finishing Department at Sorg Paper Company for 39 years, and as a Rod Maker at Georgia Pacific for five years. Jesse was a member of the Sorg Bowling League. Preceding him in death were his parents, Leonard and Ora (Woodward) Martin; his wife, Jean Anne Martin in January of 2017; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by two sons, Jesse C. (Robyn) Martin, Jr. and Jeffrey A. (Carrie) Martin; five grandchildren, Candace, Josh, Nick, Emilee and Travis; five great grandchildren, Ashlee, Addyson, Jayce, Lydia and Leah; one sister, Martha (Jim) Schneck; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Pendleton officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Dr., Franklin, Ohio 45005. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
