Jessie F. Swenson, 96 of Northampton, formerly of Bangor, Maine died at Wingate Manor of W. Springfield after a brief illness on July 5th, 2018. She was born June 22, 1922 in Bangor, Maine, the daughter of Arthur and Sarah McCloud Stewart. She graduated from Bangor High School in 1940.

Her husband, Ernest M. Swenson, predeceased her in 1964. Jessie is survived by her daughter Marie Hooker and her husband Richard of Easthampton,MA. Also surviving are three grandchildren, LeeAnn Frank of Granby, MA.

, Laurel Parker of Dallas, GA. , and Richard E. Hooker of Venice, FL. , eight great grandchildren, one brother Harold Stewart of Bel-Air, MD and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Arthur, Donald and Bill Stewart, four sisters, Evelyn Crawley, Elizabeth Astaire, Elaine Dulong and Sandra Tsoulas. Burial will take place in Bangor, ME at a later date.
