Obituary for Jesse “Jay Jay” Felton III Jesse J. Felton III, age 34 of Stratford, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Jesse AKA Jay Jay was born on July 31, 1984 in Stamford, CT. , the beloved son of Jesse J. Felton Jr. & Valerie Felton.
He was raised in Stratford and was a graduate of Stratford High School. Jesse worked as a helper at the Kennedy Center for 13 years. He was a true gamer and loved playing on his Nintendo, iPad, and D.S. Eating and sleeping were some of his favorite things to do.
He especially enjoyed mac&cheese, grilled chicken, and shrimp rice. Jesse will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him. Jesse was predeceased by his: paternal grandparents, Jesse J. Felton Sr. & Altha Felton, along with his maternal grandparents, Pearl E. Robinson & Mary Robinson.
In addition to his parents, Jesse is survived by his sister, Tonya Felton, his nephew, Izaiah Walker, many aunts and uncles, and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 6pm-7pm. A Homegoing Celebration of Jesse’s life will proceed at 7pm to 8pm at Community Funeral Chapels 798 Park Ave.
